Ok, I think I’m giving up on this blog.. I’m doing plenty of planning, but there are too many things that I want to keep secret. I mean, for me, part of the wedding fun is surprising our guests. Anyway, of course I’ll keep my other blog going, and will post some wedding stuff there. If you don’t follow it already, the url is movetheriver.tumblr.com.

Everything is coming together.
I don’t want to give out too many details (gotta have some surprises!), but things are coming together. We’ve secured the venue that we wanted for cheaper than we thought. We’ve also booked a photographer. Let me just say that it’s nice to have friends in the photography world! We are working hard to find an affordable band. I am pretty optimistic that we can find what we’re looking for, so we’ll just keep looking.
I guess I just wanted to say that I feel really good about this wedding. I am 100% confident that we are going to have the wedding that we want without going completely broke. Feels good man.

The Creative Alliance is a definite possibility. I’m not totally in love with how dark it is in the performance area, but it’s still in the running for sure.
